Responsible Water Use:
Easy as 1-2-3!

Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) and Wild Island Family Adventure Park are sponsoring the 9th Annual Responsible Water Use Poster Art Contest.

If you are a Washoe County student in grades K-8, are a Truckee Meadows resident and love to draw, download the entry form today!

Judging will be divided into three grade categories: kindergarten through third grade, fourth through sixth grade and seventh through eighth grade. First-, second- and third-place winners will be selected for each category and will receive:

First Place - H2O Season Pass to Wild Island PLUS a $100 savings bond
Second Place - H2O Season Pass to Wild Island PLUS a $50 savings bond.
Third Place - H2O Season Pass to Wild Island PLUS a $25 savings bond.

This year, TMWA's Assigned-Day Watering schedule has changed. TMWA customers will have an additional watering day - Easy as 1-2-3! Artwork reflecting this change may include:

-  How easy it is to use only the water you need
-  How not to waste water when you're watering outdoors
-  What you would water with a 3rd day

Three assigned days gives the community more flexibility to water when they want, without using more of our precious resource!
