2011 Poster Art Contest Kicks Off on March 22, Ended April 22
Water is a precious and limited resource. Save it today so we have it tomorrow!

What better way to celebrate World Water Day, held annually on March 22, than with the launch of Truckee Meadows Water Authority’s (TMWA) Poster Art Contest? TMWA, Wild Island Family Adventure Park and Family Pulse Magazine are excited to invite all Washoe County elementary and middle school students to participate in the 10th annual Poster Art Contest. Students will share the importance of responsible water use through their artwork.

International World Water Day is held annually to focus attention on the importance of fresh and sustainable water sources. Our theme this year for the Poster Art Contest is Water is a precious and limited resource. Save it today so we have it tomorrow! We encourage young responsible water users to reflect this in their artwork.

The deadline for entry was Friday, April 22, 2011
